The study examines the legislation governing charitable "wakf" organizations in five selected states, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, United Arab Emirate, and Morocco. The focus of the study is on investigating what the law says about endowments (or wakf)allocated for funding the organizations, activities, and programs advocating for social justice.
