This report addresses one of the most aspects of human rights in the South and East Mediterranean region: the issue of the legal system and people's access to an independent, impartial, and fair system of justice. the report seeks to address these issues in a comprehensive manner with the goal of recommending measures to the EU and Euro-Mediterranean Partnership and civil society actors, in order to promote the independence of the judiciary in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
