Breaking the silence around female circumcision revealed many surprises about the practice of this tradition. It appeared that some physicians who are university professors are advocating FC. Sometimes they even asserted it was medical necessity though there is no reference in medical textbooks to what they refer to as the FC operation.
It was important to know why doctors endorsed FC, apart from the religious institute , doctors’ say is of great significance.
